RAVI GURIA is an award-winning filmmaker and scriptwriter with over twenty years of experience. He is  an alumnus of the prestigious Xavier Institute of Communication (XIC), Mumbai (India). 

He was selected amongst eight best screenwriters in India at 'Mumbai Mantra CineRise Screenwriting Programme 2014'  on the basis of his feature film script 'Mitra'. 

His Advertisement Film for Unilever won 'Best Film' in 2009 at MOFILM UK.

His short film "Typewriter" has won multiple awards—'Best Sound Editor Award' at 14th Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) 2022; 'Critic's Choice Award' at Indo French International Film Festival 2021; 'Best Cinematography Award' at Mumbai International Cult Film Festival (MICFF) 2021. Music Video produced by Thinking Mode on Mumba by MC Dee & D’Evil won 1st Runners Up at Music Video Project Award 2022 held in Mumbai. Platinum Award Winner for Short Film Script "Obscene Trial" in the 7 Day Scriptwriting Challenge category at IFP Festival Season 12, 2022.

He has vast experience, insight and understanding of the  social sector—be it production of Audio-Visual Content, Social Media, organising and conducting Workshops and Events.

He has worked with some of the best national and international technical and creative talents in India, Middle-East and Africa; and facilitated governments, corporates and television channels with media, communication and branding services. His clientele includes Unilever, Hindustan Times, Kotak Mahindra, Lalit Suri Group of Hotels, UB Group, Dettol, Rajasthan Government, Jammu & Kashmir Government, KRIBHCO, Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF) etc.

He has been mentored through collaborative advanced scriptwriting workshops by Tom Abrams—who is an award-winning screenwriter and director whose work has been recognized in both the United States and Europe, including an Academy Award Nomination, an Emmy Award, and prizes at the Berlin, Cannes, Montreal and Karlovy, Vary Film Festivals, among others.; and renowned Hollywood cinematographer Slawomir Idziak—credited for movies like Black Hawk Down and Harry Porter.
